Have you ever had to wait for something that you really wanted?
Watch this video to check out some kids try to practice self-control.
Can you practise self control? The challenge is not to laugh!
Talk to your teacher about which option your class is going to try.
See how you go following these instructions:
Option 1: Find a partner. Stare them in the face and look them in the eye. You can’t talk. You can’t make funny faces. The first person to laugh loses.
Option 2: Find a partner. Stare them in the face and look them in the eye. You can’t talk. You can’t make funny faces. Your teacher will read out a list of funny words. The first person to laugh loses.
Option 3: Find a partner. Stare them in the face and look them in the eye. Your mission is to make your partner laugh before you. You can say funny things or pull funny faces – but you can’t touch them. (Anyone who says or does anything rude to induce a laugh automatically loses.)
